Emerald and Jade | San Francisco Mint Wedding

San Francisco Mint Wedding

If it's lucky to put a sixpence in your shoe on your wedding day, how much more lucky is it to say "I do" in a MINT! The San Francisco Mint makes a beautiful backdrop for a timeless wedding  day. New Favorite Day Event Planning and a talented team of creatives from across the country came together to create beautiful possibilities for the historic space. Rich emerald and soft jade tones make for a beautiful pop of color against the old stone and woodwork of the San Francisco Mint.  The vintage brass elements through the San Francisco Mint pairs beautifully with the green tones and neutral elements of the design.

A Spoonful of Sugar  created a textured botanical inspired three tiered wedding cake that pulls in the old stone texture and details of the San Francisco Mint.  Accents of greens and golds continues the timeless color palette that pairs so beautifully with the historic venue.

The romantic bouquet by Milsom and Bloom features peaches, pinks, and white tones with a jade toned ribbon from Tono & Co.  The tones carry over into the table centerpiece and stands out against the simple but dramatic greenery backdrop.  The gorgeous gown by Hayley Paige from Haute Bride features a full skirt, soft lace, and an illusion neckline.  The romantic Hayley Paige gown practically floats through the historic space.

From the designer: "Greenery is always an essential color and element for wedding designs, however often as a supplementary role rather than the main focal point. For this editorial we were inspired to create a design that accentuated greenery and revolved around two precious gemstones emerald and jade, both often passed down generations as family heirlooms."

"The San Francisco Mint was the perfect venue for this editorial with a historic and nostalgic vibe giving it a lot of character, but also having minimalistic spaces that wouldn’t compete against our design. Sarah Ann set the tone with her perfectly hand torn invitation suite. Her venue sketches and calligraphy translates exactly how one would feel standing inside the San Francisco Mint. The incredibly talented Milsom & Bloom perfectly executed our vision and created floral pieces with soft, muted tones to complement all the greenery designs.  A Spoonful of Sugar Cakes created a textured cake with square façades that bears resemblance to the historical courtyard. "

"We adorned our bride with delicately embellished Haute Bride jewelries and to complete our inspiration, an emerald engagement ring from Fire & Brilliance. We envisioned a harpist being the best fit for this ceremony and cocktail hour and we were lucky enough to bring on Kristin Lloyd to play for us. Allen Tsai Photography and Amy Hung Films effortlessly captured the sense of serenity and calmness we wanted to transcribe."
